Automatic enrollment in our Membership Rewards Classic Programme. Earn points virtually every time you use your Card6 and Supplementary Cards to redeem against a host of rewards from travel to leisure activities and gifts.

Membership privileges
We give you support such as 24/7 service, emergency Card replacements, worldwide access to cash, a designated 24-hour Business Assistant and the Gold Card Travel service7.

Online Services
Check your account and Membership Rewards points online. You can also make payments and download up to three months of old statements.

All this from a Card that has no annual fee for the first year and just £95 a year thereafter.

It should take 5-10 minutes to complete the application and to help you save time please have the following to hand:

* The Business's existing American Express Cardnumber(s) (applicable if you have other American Express Cards)
* The Business's full name, address and registration number
* The details of one other Partner/ Committee Member/ Officer if the business is not a Limited Company and you are not a Sole Trader
* Your American Express Merchant number

The first year's membership for the Small Business Gold Card is free. Thereafter the annual fee is £95, which includes free Supplementary Cards and enrolment into our Membership Rewards Classic® scheme.

As a responsible lender, American Express is obligated to set approval criteria. If you cannot confirm 'yes' to all of these questions, it is unlikely that your application will be approved:

* I am aged 18 or over
* The Business has a current UK Bank or Building Society account
* My income is over £15,000
* I have a permanent UK home address
* I / The Business do not have any County Court Judgements for non-payment of debt
